Terms of Service

Last updated: 3 June 2026.

1. Who we are

Migrastore is a fully automated self-service Shopify migration platform, operated from Portugal. By using the platform, you accept these terms.

2. The service

Migrastore is a 100% self-service automated migration platform for Shopify: you connect your store, pay, and the system creates the Shopify store, migrates data (products, collections, customers, orders and content, depending on tier) and configures the store for your market. The scope of each migration is defined at checkout or in your quote.

Some local configurations (invoicing, ERP, carriers) are done through Shopify apps and integrations and depend on the availability and plans of those third parties.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Provide valid access credentials and have the right to migrate the data in question.
  • Ensure you have a legal basis to process your customers' data that you ask us to migrate (you are the controller for that data — see the Privacy Policy).
  • Review the migrated store before making it public.

4. Pricing and payment

Migration prices are shown by tier on the site and may include extras quoted for your store. Payment is processed securely by Stripe (card, MB WAY, or Multibanco, where available). The migration proceeds after payment confirmation.

Support plans are monthly and renew automatically until cancelled.

5. Shopify store and third-party costs

Shopify subscription, paid apps, and other third-party services are not included in the migration price unless stated otherwise. At the end, we transfer store ownership to you.

6. Migration guarantees

We guarantee a migration without duplicates (each entity is mapped to its source) and offer free re-syncs for 90 days for small change volumes, as described on the security & guarantees page. Some known technical limitations of the platforms (e.g. customer passwords cannot be migrated) are documented and do not constitute a breach.

7. Limitation of liability

We strive for a faithful migration, but we do not control source platforms or Shopify. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the migration in question. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect damages. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that Portuguese law does not allow to be waived.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel a support plan at any time, effective at the end of the current billing cycle. Migrations already started or completed are non-refundable, unless required by law or otherwise agreed.

9. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. For consumer disputes, you may use a competent alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body.
